What Proveny is, and what it isn’t
Proveny turns a product listing into video ads. You paste a link to the product’s listing; Proveny reads it into a structured understanding of the product: its components, how it operates, how it is used, and what must not be shown incorrectly. It then proposes selling angles, writes a script grounded in that understanding, and generates video. You watch it, mark the seconds you want changed, and regenerate.
- It does not spend your money on its own. Proveny holds no ad budget and marks up none. Where it can connect to an ad channel at all, no campaign starts, no budget rises and no cap changes without your explicit approval in the product (section 6).
- It does not predict performance. Nothing in the product is a forecast. Proveny does not promise a video will convert, hold a cost per acquisition, outlast a creator ad, or be approved by an ad platform.
- It does not verify your product. The analysis describes what a listing says and shows. It does not test the product, confirm a supplier’s claims, or check anything against advertising law.
- It does not run your store. It does not touch prices, orders, customers or anything you have not generated in Proveny.
These terms apply from the moment you create an account or use the service. If you don’t accept them, don’t use Proveny.
Your account and its scope
You need an account to generate anything. Keep your credentials to yourself; you are responsible for everything done under your account, and you should tell us at contact@proveny.ai if you think someone else has access to it.
- One account, one person. A log-in is not shared between people and not passed around a team.
- You may generate for clients. Media buyers and agencies are welcome to run products they do not own, as long as you hold the rights described in section 3 and stay responsible for what the account produces. What you may not do is resell access itself. A client can pay you for creative work, not for a seat behind your log-in.
- No store platform is required. Proveny works the same whether you sell on Shopify, WooCommerce, a funnel or anywhere else. Nothing here obliges you to connect a store, and we do not need one to generate.
You confirm that you are using Proveny for a business, that you are old enough to enter a contract where you live, and that you are authorised to act for the products and clients you bring into it.
The link you paste
Proveny starts from a link to your product’s listing. When you paste one, we retrieve the publicly available listing content, including images, video, description and specifications, and use it to build the analysis and to ground everything generated afterwards.
Which sources are supported changes as we add them, and the list in the product at the time you paste is the one that applies. A link from a source we don’t yet read may be rejected, or may analyse poorly; neither is a fault in the service.
Rights to the listing material
You confirm you have the right to use that listing material to advertise the product you sell. You indemnify us against claims arising from material you brought in without the right to use it.
The sources are not ours
Proveny is not affiliated with, endorsed by or operated in partnership with any marketplace, supplier platform or store platform it reads from, and naming one here or in the product implies no relationship. Listings change, get edited, sell out and disappear, and access to them is outside our control. We cannot guarantee that a given link resolves, that a listing contains enough to analyse, or that re-running the same link later produces the same result.
The analysis, and its limits
Before anything is generated, Proveny works out what your product is and how it works. That reading is automated, and everything generated afterwards rests on it.
It can be wrong. Thin listings, mislabelled photos, mixed variants and translated specifications all produce confident errors. The suggested angles are starting points drafted by a model, not legal or marketing advice, and the claims they propose have not been checked against advertising law in your market.
Review the analysis before you generate on top of it. If it has misread your product, re-run it or write to us. Analysis, angles and re-runs do not consume credits.
The generated video, and its limits
Every video Proveny produces is generated by AI. Nothing in it was filmed, and nothing in it happened.
- The people are synthetic. Presenters, hands and bystanders are generated. They are not actors, customers or users; their presence is not a testimonial and their apparent approval is not an endorsement by anyone. Any resemblance to a real person is unintended. Tell us and we will regenerate.
- The settings and results are synthetic. The rain, the garden, the workshop, the before-and-after: none of it happened. If your ad presents a generated scene as a filmed demonstration of a real outcome, that framing and its consequences are yours.
- Mechanism accuracy is the aim, not a warranty. Showing your product operating the way it actually operates is the reason Proveny analyses before it generates, and it is what we work hardest on. It remains model output: a hinge, a sequence, a scale or a material can still come out wrong. Watch the whole video before you spend money behind it. Nothing leaves Proveny that you have not approved.
- Disclosure is yours. Ad platforms have their own rules on labelling AI-generated content and on depicting synthetic people. Meeting them is your obligation as the advertiser, on the account that runs the ad.
Ads, spend and platform connections
Proveny never holds, resells or marks up your ad budget. Media is charged by the ad platform to the payment method on your own account, under that platform’s terms. We do not invoice for it and we take no cut of it.
You can always take a video away and upload it yourself. Where Proveny offers a connection to an ad channel, it works like this:
- You connect it, through the platform’s own permission screens. The grant lets Proveny create and manage only the campaigns Proveny itself creates. It does not touch campaigns it did not create.
- Nothing launches without your approval, and nothing exceeds the spend cap you approve at launch. Ad platforms can overshoot a daily budget slightly within their own delivery rules; that behaviour is theirs, and possible even with a cap in place.
- You can revoke at any time, at the platform, in your Proveny settings, or by writing to us. Revoking stops any further action. Campaigns already running keep running until they are paused, and revoking does not reverse spend already incurred.
Which channels are available changes over time, and connecting one is always a deliberate act by you. Whether an ad is then approved, rejected, throttled or taken down is decided by the platform reviewing it, on grounds we do not control and are not told. A rejected video does not entitle you to credits back, though we would like to hear about it, because patterns in rejections tell us what to fix.
Credits, plans and billing
Generation is paid for in credits. A plan grants a quantity of credits for a billing period; each generation draws down against them.
The plans, their prices, the credit each action costs and which actions are free are published on the pricing page, and are shown in the product before you spend anything. Those rates change as models and costs change; the rates displayed at the moment you act are the ones that apply. This section governs how credits behave, not what they cost.
When a credit is used
- Credits are consumed when a generation starts, not when you like the result. A regeneration after frame comments is a new generation and draws again at the rate then in force.
- A failed generation is refunded automatically. If a run produces no video, its credits go back. A video that runs successfully but isn’t what you hoped for is not a failure, and is not refunded.
- Plan credits do not roll over. They reset at each billing period. Any free grant is once per account unless we say otherwise.
- Analysis is not metered. Reading a listing, producing the understanding and suggesting angles are part of the service, and re-running an analysis that got your product wrong costs you nothing.
Payment
Paid plans renew automatically each period until you cancel. Cancel at any time; access and any remaining credits run to the end of the paid period and stop there. Consumed credits are not refundable, because the compute has been spent. Prices exclude any taxes that apply where you are. Card payments are handled by our payment processor; we never see or store your full card number. If we raise a price, or make a previously free action cost credits, we tell you by email before it takes effect and you can cancel rather than accept it.
What you own, what we own
You own the output. The scripts, angles and videos generated for your products are yours to use, edit, publish, keep or delete, commercially, and after you stop paying. Files you have downloaded are unaffected by anything that happens to your account.
You give us the permission we need to store and process your material and your generated assets for one purpose: running your account and producing what you asked for. Separately, we improve the service from how the system is used: which analyses were re-run, which videos were regenerated, what frame comments asked for. We use your material to improve Proveny for everyone; we do not sell it, and we do not use your product imagery or videos to advertise Proveny without asking you first. If you would rather your account were excluded from that, write to us.
We keep ownership of Proveny itself, including its underlying systems, models, templates and interfaces. The understanding we produce of your product is yours to use; the machinery that produced it is not.
You are responsible for what you publish: the claims in the copy you approve, your rights to the material behind it, and compliance with the policies of the platform you run on and with advertising law where you sell.
Acceptable use
- Don’t bring in products that are illegal where you sell, or prohibited by the platform you intend to advertise on.
- Don’t use Proveny to show a product doing something it cannot do. Accuracy is the entire premise of this product; deliberately generating a fabricated capability is a breach of these terms, not a clever use of the tool.
- Don’t generate real, identifiable people, or direct a presenter to resemble one, including public figures and your competitors’ creators.
- Don’t bring in material you have no right to use.
- Don’t scrape, copy, resell or reverse-engineer the service, and don’t work around credit limits or billing.
- Don’t use the output for anything other than advertising a product you or your client actually sells.
Categories we can’t generate
Some product categories generate poorly or not at all: things worn against or applied to the body, intimate and medical items, weapons and their accessories, and anything the underlying video models refuse. A run in one of those categories may be refused before it produces anything; where that happens the credits return to you. We may exclude a category outright, and we do not guarantee that any particular product can be generated. If yours is borderline, try a short generation before you commit a plan to it.
Limitation of liability
The service is provided as is. We do not warrant that a generated video will be accurate in every frame, be approved by an ad platform, produce sales, or reach any particular cost per result.
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for lost profit or revenue, wasted ad spend, lost data, platform account restrictions, or business decisions made on the strength of something we generated. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid Proveny in the twelve months before the claim. Ad spend is excluded from that figure, because it was never paid to us. Nothing here removes rights you have that cannot be waived under the law that applies to you.
Suspension and termination
You can stop at any time: cancel the plan, delete the account. Download what you want to keep first. What happens to anything left behind is set out in the Privacy Policy.
We may suspend or close an account for non-payment, for a breach of these terms, for legal or platform-policy reasons, or where continued use puts other users at risk. Where notice is practical we give it, and where it is not we act immediately. Files you have already downloaded stay yours. Your data is otherwise handled as described in the Privacy Policy.
Changes to these terms
We update these terms as the product changes, and this one is changing quickly. The version published on this page is always the one in force. For changes that materially affect you, such as prices, credit costs, what consumes a credit, or anything that lets Proveny act on an ad account, we give notice by email or in the product before they take effect, and continuing to use Proveny after that means you accept them. For the version that applied on a particular date, ask contact@proveny.ai.
Contact and disputes
Write to contact@proveny.ai for anything about these terms: questions, cancellations, credit disputes, takedown requests, or a formal notice. We would rather sort a dispute by email first. Most of them turn out to be a misunderstanding about when a credit was consumed or what the analysis promised, and we can check that quickly.
If a court finds one part of these terms unenforceable, the rest stays in force. These terms are governed by the law of the country where Proveny is established, and any dispute goes to the courts there; if you need that named for a filing, ask and we will confirm it in writing.
